Baghdad (AIN)-MP Najeeba Najeeb, member of the Parliamentary Financial Committee, rolled out any effects of the recent political crises on the National economy.
A statement by Najeeb cited to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) on Saturday that “I do not believe the current political crises will affect the National Economy of the income of the citizens for it effects exporting raw oil which is the major source of the Iraqi National income.”
“Both, the salaries of the Government employees and the projects of 2012 are still going unlike what happened in 2011 when all the projects stopped because the Parliament did not approve the financial budget on time,” Najeeb added.
Approve the financial budget for 2012 was delayed because of the current political crisis between State of Law Coalitional and Iraqiya Slate which freeze the MPs from discussing and approving the financial budget.
